About the competition
The KFC Twenty20 Big Bash is the official Twenty20 cricket competition in Australia organised by the sport's governing body - Cricket Australia. The competition is contested by six teams representing the six states in Australia.
The last competition began on the 26th December 2008 with the Final taking place on 24th January 2009.
The KFC Twenty20 Big Bash has been running since 2005 with Victoria Bushrangers proving the dominant force having won every year so far.
